Indian government spends huge amounts of money to promote and propagate Hindi in foreign countries while very little money is spent for other languages. The book presents several examples of this language discrimination abroad. Why should I, a non-Hindi Indian, pay for the glorification of Hindi? If Hindi politicians want to propagate Hindi around the world, let Hindi states fund such projects with their state taxes.
There are more Malayalis and Telugus in Arab Gulf countries than Hindi people. But there are very few or no Malayalam or Telugu speaking officers in the Indian embassies of these counties; but all officers are required to learn Hindi. This is ridiculous.
